• Put away laundry, shoes, bags, and loose belongings.
• Vacuum, sweep, and tidy all visible floors.
• Dust surfaces and clean mirrors and glass.
• Replace burned-out bulbs; make sure every light works.
• Hide cords and chargers where practical.
• Put away valuables, mail, and private documents.

02Kitchen & Dining

• Clear countertops of small appliances and clutter.
• Put away dishes, dish towels, sponges, and cleaners.
• Clear the fridge of magnets, papers, and photos.
• Wipe countertops and appliance fronts.
• Tuck trash cans out of sight where practical.
• Straighten dining chairs and clear the table.

03Bathrooms

• Clear counters of toiletries and grooming items.
• Put away toothbrushes, medications, and bath mats.
• Stow cleaning supplies and extra toiletries.
• Close every toilet lid.
• Clean mirrors, faucets, and fixtures.
• Fold or neatly hang towels.
• Straighten shower curtains.

04Bedrooms & Living Spaces

• Make beds neatly and straighten pillows.
• Put away clothing; clear nightstands and dressers.
• Arrange sofa cushions, pillows, and throws.
• Pick up pet toys and other clutter.
• Tidy desks, shelves, and entertainment areas.

05Exterior & Yard

• Mow the lawn where practical; clean up after pets.
• Put away toys, tools, hoses, and yard clutter.
• Move trash and recycling bins out of view.
• Move vehicles from the driveway and front curb.
• Sweep porches, patios, and walkways.
• Arrange outdoor furniture; open umbrellas if safe.
• Unlock gates to any areas being photographed.

Drone photos? If included, the same prep applies. Flights depend on weather, airspace, and safe conditions.

06Before We Arrive

• Finish cleaning and tidying before the appointment.
• Unlock every room and space to be photographed.
• Turn on interior lights when requested.
• Open blinds and curtains evenly.
• Turn off TVs, screens, and ceiling fans.
• Keep pets secured away from photographed areas.
• Step out of each room while it’s being photographed.
